Electronic Truck Weighing System Technical Bid Proposal
The Electronic weighing system supplier’s bid proposal shall include all of the following information:
- Detailed description of the supplier’s truck weighing system including weighbridge design, specification of carbon steel, load cell design, surge voltage/lighting protection, and information on peripheral equipment.
- Pit foundation requirements including dimensions, piers, wall thickness, and approach information.
- Electronic signal cabling arrangement.
- Recommended, priced, spare parts list.
- Electric power supply requirements for weighing system components.
- Description of how the requirements for on-site supervision of the weighing system installation will be accomplished and how calibration and certification for use will be achieved by the system supplier.
- Information regarding local servicing available for the weighing system including personnel qualifications, and parts availability.
- Information, details and cost of maintenance contracts available for the weighing system.
- Detailed listing of any exceptions, clarifications, and alternates to the specifications.
All bid proposals shall be submitted to Company according to the Company’ Request for Proposal and any supplemental instructions from the Company’ Purchasing Department.
