Installation of Reverse Osmosis System

1. Each skid shall support complete subsystems (e.g., pretreatment system, chemical cleaning system), requiring only skid-to-skid and terminal point connections in the field.
2. Contacts between dissimilar materials that may cause galvanic corrosion shall be electrically insulated.
3. Waste or discharge from reverse osmosis units shall enter the drainage system through an air gap. (UPC Para 603.4.14)
4. All the piping connections to the system shall be in accordance with Issued For Construction Drawings (IFC) and / or the system manufacturer (UPC Para 310.4)
5. Color Coding & Identification – all above ground water piping within the R.O. plant shall be fully color coded and have a color identification band to designate the liquid being conveyed in accordance with Table 3 of SAES-A-104, SAES-B-067 and Saudi Aramco Sanitary Code, GI-0151.006 and the direction of normal flow shall be clearly shown at every 20 ft (6096 mm) intervals. Minimum length of color field and size of letter shall be in accordance with the table shown below:
6. Color Coding & Identification – all underground water piping within the R.O. plant shall be fully color coded and have a color identification band to designate the liquid being conveyed in accordance with Table 3 of SAES-A-104, SAES-B-067 and Saudi Aramco Sanitary Code, GI-0151.006 and the direction of normal flow shall be clearly shown on pipes entering and leaving the valve boxes. Minimum length of color field and size of letter shall be in accordance with the table shown below:
