Manual Valve Technical Specification and Design | Dimensional Figures

1. PURPOSE

This technical specification defines the dimensional figures used for manual-valve specifications. This specification is intended to facilitate the preparation of valve specifications,
summaries, and for the supplier to understand the valve extension lengths when specified in the purchase order.

2. SCOPE

2.1 This specification applies to all valve specifications written by Mechanical Systems Engineering.

4. DIMENSIONS

4.1 Dimension Definitions

A = Center to top (valve open)
B1 = Length of lever
B2 = Handwheel diameter

C = Centerline of valve body to handwheel

D = Offset from centerline of valve body to centerline of handwheel

E = Centerline of valve nozzle to mounting plate

EE = Bottom of socket to bottom of socket

FF = Face-to-face: Overall length of valve

G = Eccentricity – location of stem in relation to inlet side of valve body
S = Extension Tube/Bonnet flange/Union nut diameter

Y = Centerline of valve nozzle to underside of gland packing Dimensional Figures
