SCADA Inspection and Testing for ARAMCO Projects

Saudi Aramco is committed to providing the best possible SCADA systems for its operations. With this in mind, the company has established a set of requirements for inspection and testing of integrated systems. All system components must adhere to Saudi Aramco Inspection Requirements Form 175-230200.

To ensure the quality of these systems, vendors must conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). For the FAT, vendors must develop their own criteria and submit it for Saudi Aramco’s approval.

Additionally, they must provide a list of the necessary test tools. For the SAT, vendors must develop their own criteria and have it approved by Saudi Aramco. Both tests must adhere to the requirements of SAEP-1634 Factory Acceptance Test and SAEP-1638 Site Acceptance Test Plan.

Furthermore, the system must be designed in such a way that users can maintain the system with minimal reliance on vendor services. The system must also include all the necessary software for configuration and maintenance of the database. By adhering to these requirements, vendors can ensure the best possible SCADA systems for Saudi Aramco’s operations.
