| Examination | ASTM A 269. The pipe shall be capable of passing the AA cleanliness test of 4WPI-SW70003. The pipe shall be dry and free from oil and lubricants, internally and externally. Random test for cleanliness shall include at least the first and last coil of each order. If these cleanliness requirements are not met or the pipe is suspected of being contaminated, the entire lot shall be re-cleaned. The pipe will be used for oxygen service and cleanliness is essential for safety reasons. Sandvik cleaning procedure QI 083 is approved by Company, Acrefair. |
