TEST PROCEDURE AND CHECKLIST

1. Test procedures shall be in accordance with SAIC-K-4042.
2. Record all the data in accordance with detailed Information of either AABC or NEBB.
3. Record data for air distribution system.
4. Record data for chilled water system.
5. Check operation of all controls.
6. Check all control element for proper “normally open” or proper “normally closed” positions upon loss of power or instrument air.

CONCLUSIONS

1. Recorded data for air distribution is within +/-10% of air quantities shown on project drawings.
2. Recorded data for Chilled water system is within +/- 5% of values shown on project drawings.
3. All actuators cycle in accordance with the designed action of the controlling device and the sequence of operation have been checked and are in accordance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and contractual requirements.
4. All control element for proper “normally open” or proper “normally closed” positions upon loss of power or instrument air have been checked and are in accordance with design requirements.
5. The TAB Report shall be reviewed and approved by the concerned HVAC Maintenance/ Operation Organization. Random points may be selected by the concerned organization for re-measurement to verify the accuracy of the TAB Report.
6. Test results are acceptable and in accordance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and contractual requirements.
