| Nondestructive Testing: | |
| a) Magnetic Particle Testing or Dye Penetrant | All butt weld ends shall be tested using either PT (per ASTM E165) or MT (per ASME SEC VIII D1, Appendix 8). |
| b) Radiographic Testing (welded fittings only) | All welds in fabricated fittings shall be 100% radiographed in accordance with ASME Sec VIII, D1, Paragraph UW-51. |
| c) Ultrasonic Testing (welded fittings only) | 02-SAMSS-005 & ASTM A420: Plate used to mfg. fittings shall be examined for laminations. |
| Heat Treatment after Forming and Welding | 02-SAMSS-005 & A420: Limitations denoted in SAMSS. |
